Welcome to my website for those of you who are seeking a counsellor or psychotherapist in the Wimbledon and Kingston Upon Thames areas.
If you have been considering counselling, but do not know where to begin your search, then please feel free to peruse this website which, I hope, will answer many of your questions.
My name is George Berguno and I am a Chartered psychologist with many years’ experience of counselling and psychotherapy.
My private practice has been established since 1994, during which time I gained specialist knowledge in working with persons who suffer from anxiety, depression, obsessions and relationship difficulties.
I see clients primarily during the evenings, although some daytime sessions are available.
My practice is situated in a quiet and protected environment; all sessions are private and strictly confidential.
I offer both long-term and short-term counselling depending on the presenting difficulties and on the client’s needs.
I am particularly interested in helping persons who are:
• experiencing anxiety, social phobias & panic attacks
• suffering from depression
• struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• coping with the consequences of trauma
• victims of abuse, neglect or bullying
• require anger management
• undergoing stress, low self-esteem or lack of confidence
• experiencing relationship difficulties
• going through separation or divorce
• feeling grief for the loss of a loved one
• experiencing doubt and a sense of futility about life
